An independent newsroom, built on trust.
Inkego finds experts with something worth saying, produces original interviews and features to editorial standard, and places them in the publications people read. We work for the story, not for a client's message.
Why we exist
The best experts are often the worst at getting their story out. They're busy doing the work — running the lab, building the company, publishing the research — and the mechanics of press coverage are opaque, slow, and easy to distrust.
We sit between those experts and the publications that want their stories. We handle the reporting, the writing, the fact-checking, and the placement — and we do it transparently, so nobody has to wonder whether the whole thing is a scam.
Interviews are free for the subject. We earn by syndicating finished stories to our partner publications. That's the entire model, and we're happy to explain it to anyone who asks.
Editorial standards & ethics
Fact-checking
Every claim of fact is checked before publication. Where a subject asserts something we can't verify, we attribute it clearly as their view.
Sourcing
We prefer named, on-the-record sources and primary documents. We disclose relationships that could affect how a reader weighs a story.
Subject draft-review
Every subject sees their piece before it runs and can correct facts and request reasonable edits. We don't publish surprises.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and on the record, and we coordinate the correction with the publishing outlet.
Independence
No money changes hands with subjects. We are not an advertising or PR agency, and our editors decide what runs.
