How it works

    An editor contacts you from an @inkego.com address with a clear brief — who we are, what the story is, and why you.

    Conversation

    The interview

    A conversation, usually over Zoom and around two hours. We send you the main topics in advance so nothing is a surprise.

    Review

    Draft review

    We write and fact-check the piece, then send it to you. You confirm the facts and can request reasonable edits before we go anywhere.

    Publish

    Publication in a partner outlet

    Once you sign off, the story runs in one of our partner publications, with your name and a real byline.

Why is the interview free?
Because you're not our customer. We earn by syndicating finished stories to the publications we partner with — so there's no reason to charge you and no reason to pay you.
Who will see this?
Your story is published in one of our partner outlets — real publications with real audiences. We tell you which one before it runs.
Can I decline or pull out?
Yes. Taking part is entirely voluntary, and you can withdraw at any point before publication.
Where will it be published?
In a partner publication whose audience fits your field. We confirm the specific outlet with you as part of the process.
How long does it take?
On average about ten days from interview to publication, though it depends on the outlet's schedule.
Can I make changes to the draft?
Yes. You always see the draft before publication and can correct facts and request reasonable edits, as is standard in the industry.
What rights am I giving up?
You grant us permission to publish the interview or feature and to syndicate it to a partner outlet. You keep your words and your expertise; we handle placement and attribution.
