Sophie Bergström decides what we commission and where it goes. She works at both ends of the newsroom — shaping story briefs with our editors and matching finished pieces to the partner publications whose audiences fit best.

A graduate of the London School of Economics, Sophie began in European media before relocating to San Francisco to build Inkego's partnership network. She has negotiated syndication terms with newsrooms on both sides of the Atlantic and is unusually candid about how the business works — which is exactly why she writes our explainers on it.
